Introduction
I just realized that you guys have been doing everything I've already been doing myself (only with tiny groups of friends). I'm peeved I can't make it to the Vietnamese dinner, but your past events sound fantastic, and I can't wait to meet everyone!
It would be great if you could just write a little bit about yourself - where are you from, which countries/cultures are you particularly interested in --- anything

My dad is Brit/Australian, mom's from Cleveland, they met in Israel, raised me all over the U.S. I'm part of a travel-loving, theater-going, art-enjoying family, and that's still a giant part of my life out here!

Which language(s) would you like to learn (or improve)?

I used to be near-fluent in French, i wouldn't mind picking that back up again!

Which language(s) do you speak?

Just English, sadly. And Pig Latin, but I'm not sure that counts....
