Dear NY Polyglots,
Happy New Year!
Look at me dancing for you as Santa!
http://www.dancingsantacard.com/?santa=7022074

Members of NY Polyglots now have the opportunity to try a new way of
learning foreign languages (one, or two or even more!), and practice
them during our scheduled meetings.

Learning is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Go to www.polyglots.en101.com

2. Enter Username: polyglots
Password: polyglots

3. Choose a language of your choice (English, Spanish, French,
Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Latvian).

Try it and tell me what you think!

Alex

P.S.: If you have any trouble logging in or using the website, send me an email.

Dear polyglots, sorry for a short notice

Language exchange meeting - Sunday 11/02 from 4:30pm to 7pm

Come and join other polyglots and language exchange enthusiasts tomorrow in the awakening of this crazy Halloween weekend.

Our meetup place, Union Bar, is conveniently located right on Union Square for quick access from everywhere. Whether you want to practice a language at a good level or learn some catch phrases in a foreign language during our game sessions, you'll find a good number of travelers and locals from different background to speak with.

French, Hindi, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew are among the languages you can pick up, and we'll provide various grammar and vocabulary books to help you. Happy hour prices and pub food will keep your energy high until the end of the meeting, and we hope to make this a regular event so your feedbacks are more than welcome!

Hi,

Warm sun, good food, gentle breezes, we had such a nice time at our last picnic, we've decided to do it again! We'll be heading back to grassy tree-filled Prospect Park where we plan on soaking up the sun while we talk.

All the basics: drinks, plates, napkins, cups, etc.. will be there. All you need is yourself, a blanket, and if you're so inclined, something munchy to share.

When you rsvp, please tell us what you plan to bring! If you need an idea of what to bring any of the following would be welcome: brownies, chips, pretzels, drinks, potato salad, or a dish from your favorite country.

Hope you can make it!

Sally

Directions
