Something to talk about on next Meetup

Hi there!

Hope you all are well and wish you can make next Meetup, next Tuesday.

I have been thinking and there might be a way to keep our group going without being linked to my "variable availability". This is appointing an "Assistant", as the web says.

The Assistant will have pretty much the same access to the same features that the Organizer has, being able to schedule meetups, email the group, etc. Any volunteer? Just give me a shout either by email or on next Meetup.

Another thing to talk about is the fee. So far, I launched this Meetup and I paid the fees to Meetup in USA. I did because I wanted in this way to put the "ball moving" as the group started and I am happy I did. In the future, I think it would be appropriate to have a small attendance fee to share to cost between everybody, as all other Meetup groups have, 0.50 GBP. Hope this is OK with you.

Hope we can relaunch this Meetup and start doing new things soon. Remember that all ideas are welcome...so don't hesitate to propose them: visits to outdoor places, meeting on other pubs you know, etc. I must say I have been proposed to change the pub where we meet, as sometimes it is a little noisy but I'm not sure where else to go... not sure if the group will fancy changing again if we don't like the new place but please propose one you feel will be good. Other things that might be proposed is having the Meetups on other different days such as eg on weekend, how often to have them, etc.
